I love my weekends

I had loadsa fun this weekend with my Ling and my copen. I collected my copen on Friday evening from the workshop who did my leather seats. My copen is smoking hot now with orange leather seats.

We headed up Johor Bahru late at night with her friends for supper. We had sharksfin and Lok Lok. It is my first time in Johor Bahru with her and I had lots of fun. Somehow I envisaged all these fun outings with her when I decided to get together with her and it's all coming true!!!

On Saturday morning, I had brunch with my colleagues from JAIC Tokyo Hiroyoshi Koizumi and my new boss Umeda Kazuhiro. I just realised both have "HIRO" in their names. I should call my son "Superhero" next time.

She bought a new toy on Sunday for us. The acclaimed Canon S95. We were choosing between the Panasonic Lumix LX5 and the Canon S95. She totally fell for the Lumix when she saw the Garskin sticker on it. I told her to choose the camera she likes so that she will use it because to me both cameras are very similar in terms of functionality and quality just that I prefer Canon because its smaller and I'm a die hard Canon fan. Being my sweet little darling, she chose the Canon because I like it more than the Lumix. But there was a hidden clause, I had to look for cute stickers so that she can paste it on her Canon S95. We also played around with the Canon 50mm f/1.2L and she loved the Bokey the lens created. It's a matter of time this lens is going to be in my dry cabinet.

I must say I have the cutest girlfriend with the cutest ideas. And just recently, she bought us cute couple underpants. I must say mine's pretty gay looking though but I pinky promise her that I'll wear it tonight to Johor Bahru. =)

Raindrops keep falling on head

I'm so happy spending my time with Ling and my new ride that I had no time to blog. I had dinner with Isaac and Narisa yesterday at Ootoya Japanese Restaurant located at Orchard Central. It was a nice little restaurant which serves home cooked japanese food. The purpose of this dinner was actually to introduce Narisa to Ling. After dinner, Isaac and I went for our Tuesday weekly football session at Khalsa Association and my lovely Ling gave Narisa a ride home.

It was a good game for me as I played quite well scoring a couple of goals but clumsy me always getting knocks during the game. We drove top them on the way back home because I was extremely stinky. But halfway through the journey, it started to drizzle and we stopped by the roadside to close our roof. And silly Ling was asking me why I went "Oh Shit" =P

I'm going to get my windows tinted today because we need some privacy in the car. *wink*

Tattoos

I was just having a conversation with Ling about tattoos as she was going on and on about a Chippendale guy who is so sweet because he has 'Issabelle' tattooed over his heart. I presume 'Issabelle' is his girlfriend/partner/wife or whatever people call it these days.

We were also discussing about what tattoos we would get if we are to get one. And I said I wanted a dragon on the right hand side of my shoulder, not the ancient chinese dragon but the medieval dragon. Something like this:

And guess what, she decided to give me two tattoos when I was semi awake. I didn't really resist when she was doodling away because I guess she needed to satisfy her drawing appetite

My official first ride

I made some major financial commitments over the weekend. I officially bought my first ride, a second hand Daihatsu Copen. It's a small 660CC turbo charged car. It is definitely a fun ride because it is a two door convertible. There are a few reasons why I decide to buy this car:

1) My girlfriend loves cars and according to her, this car was one of her options before she bought her Suzuki Swift Sports.

2) Fulfilling my dream of owning a 2 door convertible. 

3) Between us we need a car to zip around in the evening and on weekends and  I believe the purchase of this car will bring our relationship to another level because we can spend quality time together doing the things we both like.

4) My sister requires more usage of the family car because of Baby Ethan.

Things I'm going to do when I get the car:

1) Send it for full servicing. ($200)

2) Remake the car keys ($70)
3) Buy car mats ($40)

4) Wrap the carseats with new leather compliments of the agent. (Free of charge)

5) Add a small spoiler (To be confirmed)

6) Retune the car with Piggyback Unichip Q ECU chip ($880)

7) Decat the car ($100)
8) Add air filter ($370)

9) Change rims and tyres of the car probably tyres only ($800)
10) Solar film the car ($188)

I'll probably do up the performance of the car first then the cosmetic of the car. I need sponsership.

8 hours to happiness

In exactly 8 hours time, my girlfriend/partner will be coming from the states. I missed her so much during the period she was gone eventhough we pretty much skype quite often. But it is different between spending time with her virtually and physically.

I will be heading straight home after work to pack some stuff for work tomorrow because I will be bunking in with her tonight. It's so nice hugging your love one to sleep and it is one of the things which I so miss besides her craziness.

The holiday break she took was good for us because for one thing, it made my heart fonder. I don't know about her though but I guess she missed me too because she said she can't wait to get back home eventhough she fully enjoyed her time in the states.

There is a lot of anticipation because being her boyfriend/partner now, there should be some expectations from her but as of now there isn't which I don't know whether its a good or bad thing. But one thing I know for sure, she activated her gf privilages by requesting me to pick up my piano skills again. hee =P Maybe I should activate mine too.... Muahahaha... Saying these, I hope eventhough there is a status change in our relationship, the good things we have for the couple of months from dating will remain or even be better. The trust we have between us, the common understanding we have between us and the willingness to listen to each other is what is most important to me, because with this, we can build a amazing relationship.

Packing and moving of office

I've started packing my personal office documents in preparation of shifting to the new office on Friday. I have many good memories of my current office. Some of my colleagues are leaving the company and I'm sad because they have been great colleagues. And it is very important to me that my colleagues are nice so that when I work, I don't have to worry about office politics etc. Till this day I remember my direct boss Jaime told me there are office politics in this company so don't start any. All that is left now is Guna, Cynthia, Omura, Jasmine and Me.

I want to tell the world...

It's been 9 days since she said yes to being my girlfriend and I've been the happiest boy on earth!!! It took me the longest time to pucker my courage. I was chatting with her on whatsapp and she commented the best decision I made in this life was to meet her end 2009. But I beg to differ, the best decision I made in my life was to follow my heart and that means showing her how much I love her and giving it my all to see us happily together.

I think she would have remembered the breakfast I prepared for her early on most of the mornings during her busy schedule when she was working for YOG in August 2010. I would buy ingredients the night before, wake up earlier to prepare sandwiches for her, sent it to her place and left it at her cupboard top where I always leave food stashes for her, and head to work after that. I remember when she had to stay in the YOG village, I prepared a whole boxful of food bought mostly from Muji just in case she had to work late and had nothing to eat.

I love her soooo much and I want the whole world to know how lucky I am to have her as my girlfriend.

Poisonous food has no effects on me!!!

Over the past 2 weeks, my girlfriend has been torturing me with food pictures. Japanese food to be exact, thankfully some of food pictures she sent me has no effect on me since I deemed them poisonous.

Times really passes by really quickly, and I'm happy about it because my gf/partner is coming back home. I miss her so much for the last 16 days when she was not around.

What I miss about her:
1) She rearranging the pillows and quilt on her bed so that I can sleep more comfortably
2) Her multiple reactions and comments about me driving her manual car
3) Watching our favourite TV shows together
4) She and her act cute "hmmmppphhh" look.
5) Holding her hand and kissing her
6) Looking at her while she does her laundry and folding her clothes, and me helping her out
7) She blowing her hair and not able to hear me talk because of the noisy hairdryer.
8) Her happy face when ice milo or prawns is ordered.
9) Sharing my banana boat Yami yogurt with her
10) Her universal respond "hee" face when I say " I love you, Miss Hong"

Over the past few years I've known Ling, I've always seen the boyish side of her until recently where I'm seeing more of her feminine side in terms of how she carries herself and her dressing... And I'm loving it!!!
Looks like from now on I just have to hang on to her tighter....

New Year Resolutions and major room packing

I did major room packing today because my new queen size bed is coming on Tuesday. The main reason I got a queen size bed is because my roomie has tendencies to fall off my super single size bed.

Made a couple of resolutions for 2011 and it is in running order of importance

1) Officially ask Ai Ling to be my gf/partner which thankfully went pretty smoothly
2) Tone down my arrogance, stop being so obnoxious and be a nicer friend to everyone
3) Find the drive and passion with regards to my career.
4) Be more thrifty and start saving big time for my future and the girl I love so much
5) Love my family more

It's today!!!

Completed. My first new year resolution for 2011. I asked Ai Ling to be my gf/ partner. I wanted to surprise her with the little gift I got for her but the package might not reach her on time and I really wanted to ask her to be my gf/partner on the first day of the new year.
